The Foundation stage:

The curriculum provides opportunities to develop the children’s conceptual thinking in areas of Language, Literacy and Mathematics, to develop their Personal, Social, Physical and Creative skills. This is in line with the Early Learning Goals set in the Foundation Stage of the Jersey Early Years Curriculum (Development Matters guidance). A rich and exciting, indoor and outdoor environment is essential to enable the children to lead their own learning with the teachers and learning support officers guiding them towards their goals.
